My house needs a bit of work, repainting, repairs, etc., but it’s cozy. After the winter I repotted my four Geranium plants into two big pots, and they are doing so much better now. It makes me really happy to open my front door and see the fullness of the deep green leaves and pink blooms.
In an old house on a busy road dust and dirt are hard to keep up with. But sitting on my little front porch with flowers blooming around me is such a delight. I’m not a great gardener, but my potted plants are doing well so I’m satisfied. Some had taken a turn for the worse over the winter, but now they have revived.
Being surrounded by nature is good for the soul.

I totally agree. Seeing plants, trees, flowers and children grow and thrive – that is almost all you need!

Yes, and when the children grow up and go away at least you have the plants and pets!
