I used to live in Orange county, FL. My husband was born in Orange, NSW, AU, and his favorite color is orange. My favorite colors lean toward the other side of the color wheel. However, after living in New England for 20 years I’ve come to appreciate the color orange for its liveliness and warmth. Especially this past winter.

Turmeric and Ginger tea with oranges have kept me healthy this past winter. My cat and I long for spring warmth. I look forward to orange summer flowers and autumn orange colored leaves and pumpkins. Several years ago I painted my living room a very light orange color to help us feel warm in winter. Life would be a bit cold without orange.
