I think I drank too much coffee. Couldn’t sleep so I had to create. Watch out, I might do your face next! This one is called “The Look”.
Form, color, motion, texture, shadow, light, how it all comes together in time & space at that moment you are looking. Cool, warm, hot, tranquil, peaceful, comforting, intriguing, mysterious, delicious, saturating the senses and stimulating emotion. Life is art.
I love the sun, but I live in a place that’s cold most of the year and often rainy. So I create the sun, a happy sun, to shine it’s warmth & light inside my home no matter what the weather is like outside.
Why do I do this? I’m not sure, it’s just so much fun to see what happens in the process of creation. There are surprises and delights, disappointments and frustrations, but overall it makes me happy.
I love abstract art. Endless ways that color, shape & texture can come together to create beauty, emotion & excitement.
