This seemed like too fitting of a theme to pass up. I have not been posting for the past few months because my life has been rearranged and changed. I live in 2 places now and commute long distance on a weekly basis.
A new job means rearranging some brain cells. But I’m still doing my old job as well, I just do them both at the same time. Clever time management, tricky scheduling and a lot of flexibility are required. I’m supervising resident life for teenagers, international students, 5 days a week. While they’re in classes I do my other work.
New roads to travel, a new place to live. New ideas, new people, new activities and a new place to do yoga.
Rearranging my presence from one state to another. Rearranging my mind from a solitary lifestyle to being highly involved with a lot of people. And then, of course, there is the rearrangement of personal space, clothing, and lifestyle accessories. Duplicate chargers, printers, hair dryers and coffee pots make the coming and going so much easier.
Growth and development require change; which basically means it’s necessary to mentally, emotionally and sometimes physically rearrange things. This was my choice. It’s a new adventure – and I’m enjoying this new arrangement.
